Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara
You will travel to Masai Mara National park today. This will be with our experienced driver guide who will meet and greet you at the agreed pickup point. From Nairobi city to Masai Mara reserve is about 6-7 hours. There will be an enroute stopover at the Great Rift Valley view point for photography, and then lunch in Narok town.
Thereafter, proceed with the journey with stunning views of Masai landscape, vegetation and enjoy country men in their African homesteads. You will arrive in the park by evening, refresh, have dinner, and enjoy campfire experience.
Day 2: Game drive and Masai cultural experience
Get your day started with a hefty cup of coffee. That will be followed with a 3-4 hour game drive in the open savannah grass land with variety of flora and Fauna, yet not sure of what sound and sight will come your way. Expect to meet different antelope species, birds, lions, leopards, zebras, cobras, Buffaloes, African Elephants, cheetah, wildebeests, hippos, crocodiles, warthogs, stunning landscape, and more.
After the game drive, you will return to the Lunch. In the evening, you will be taken for a thrilling cultural encounter with the Masai warriors; to listen to them sing, dance, tour the kraal, and interacting with the natives. You learn a lot of things about animals, rural life, and African cultures. End this day with dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Depart Masai Mara to Serengeti National park
After breakfast, you will hit the road to Serengeti national park in Tanzania. The Journey lasts for about 7-8 hours, with time to clear at the border point and then lunch. You will reach the lodge in the evening, proceed to check-in for dinner and overnight. The road trip gifts you stunning sights of lush plantations, dotted homesteads and beautiful landscapes.
Day 4: Full day Game drive
Very early in the morning, you will go to lookout for the night hunters returning to their hideouts, and the day grassers starting their day with fresh pasture. It is a game of chance, yet each minute puts a smile in your face. In any time of the day, from any part of the wild can come a Lion, hyenas, leopard, wild dog, cheetah, elephant, Buffalos, warthogs, and more. The ticking hand of the clock gives guidance to what is next in program. You will have breakfast in the wild, an afternoon rest, and sunset game drive. Dinner and overnight at the sunset
Day 5: Bird watching and transfer to Ngorongoro crater
At 7am, you will go with your guide to the bird haven, seeking to identify different bird species by name, character and sound. The session will last for about 3 hours in the swamplands and water body shores. After that, you will return to the lodge for late breakfast and checkout. A journey to Ngorongoro crater comes with beautiful views of Tanzania’s magical landscape, plantations and busy towns.
Have a stopover at Olduvai Gorge to see fossils of a man believed to be one of the first inhabitants of the earth. From here, proceed to check-in at your lodge for refreshment, dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Morning game drive and sunset guided nature walk
Kick start your day with delicious cup of coffee at the lodge. Thereafter go for a 3-4 hour game drive experience around the vast savannah grassland, looking out for the hippos, lions, leopards, Buffaloes, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeest, several antelope species, wild dogs, and hyenas. After game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch and then afternoon guided nature walks along the crater rim.
At the summit you take a clear view of stunning landscapes, animal hideouts and beautiful sunset. End the day at the lodge with dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Departure to Arusha. Departure
Your journey time is dependent on the time of your outbound flight. Breakfast will be right on time, followed by check-out to embark on your journey to Arusha. There will be de-briefing from our company representative before you leave Kenya.
