Ndoha plains can be visited all year round but the best months are from April to May when wildebeests migration herds are present. Although the weather makes it difficult to visit during May to April, tourists will have the park to themselves without huge crowds like in the peak season and other parts of Serengeti.

Ndoha plains can be reached from Arusha town of Tanzania within 7 hours drive. There are also several airstrips at different sectors of the park that you can fly into from Arusha airport, Kilimanjaro airport, Nyerere airport and Lake Manyara airport among the rest. Tourists must book accommodation close to the airport they fly into to avoid driving for long hours.
