Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Lake Nakuru from Nairobi

Begin the safari by meeting up with your safari driver from our company at the hotel in Nairobi and immediately transfer to Lake Nakuru national park the renowned place for the flamingos. These birds turn lake shores into pink.

Take about 2 hours’ drive and as soon as you arrive, enjoy a beautiful view of the lodge, check-in, later have hot lunch as you prepare for an evening game drive where you encounter different mammals such as giraffes, cape buffaloes, olive baboons, impalas, waterbucks, hippos, colobus monkeys, spotted hyenas, zebras, gazelles, leopards, lions and many more.

Day 2: Game drive and head to Masai Mara National reserve

Have a morning game drive and this will help you to encounter early risers such as lions, hyenas, leopards and more as they hunt for prey. Later on head back to the lodge for breakfast and then depart to Masai Mara a renowned place for hosting their annual wildebeest migration in large numbers together with zebras.

This is also an amazing destination to watch will animals in large numbers like the lions, leopard, cheetahs, gazelles, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles and many more. Arrive in the evening and immediately head to the lodge in the wild for your dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Full day Masai Mara exploration

This day will be spent on a game drive as you explore the beautiful endless plains of Mara with different creatures like the birds, animals and butterflies. This day will include enjoying a picnic lunch as you enjoy the wild fun.

If you visit the park in the dry season that is June to September, you will be able to spot the migration of wildebeests and zebras crossing from Serengeti through Mara River. Later in the evening, enjoy dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Cross to Serengeti National park in Tanzania

Leave Mara in the morning and then transfer to Serengeti National Park after breakfast. This will be a whole journey drive with unique viewing points on the different stopover points. Encounter the beautiful scenery while on the road trip. Head to the lodge on your arrival for your dinner.

Day 5&6: Full day exploration of Serengeti National park

Explore through discovering the wild animals such as elands, zebras, topis, kongoni, impala, grant’s gazelles, hippopotamus, crocodiles, elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, to mention but a few.

Witness the annual wildebeest migration in the months of June to September.

Day 7: Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater

Leave Serengeti plains in the morning after breakfast and head to Ngorongoro Crater with a visit to Olduvai Gorge museum a place where the skull of the early man was discovered using ruminate tools. The next stopover will be at the lodge in Ngorongoro where you encounter an option of nature walk in the wild to discover the beautiful sceneries.

Day 8: Transfer to Arusha and fly home

Take a game drive that will last for about 4 hours. This will introduce you to wild animals such as cheetahs, jackals, impalas, bushbucks, elands, elephants, leopards and many more others. Later on, head to Arusha at the airport and fly home to mark the end of the Kenya Tanzania Wildlife Safari.
