Detailed Itinerary.

Day 1: Arrival in Kenya.
Get started with your safari vibes right upon landing. Our company driver guide will pick you up at the airport, and drive to the lodge where you will check-in for refreshment and relaxation. In case you are not so exhausted and have arrived quite early; taking a tour around Kigali city could be an ideal plan, before having dinner and retiring for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Drive to Samburu National park
After breakfast, you will check-out of the lodge and embark on a transfer to Samburu National park, one of Kenya’s most visited national parks. This journey takes approximately 5-6 hours, with an enroute stopover for lunch. You will arrive at your lodge in the evening, check-in for refreshments and later have dinner. Enjoy your sleep as the next day comes with a lot of activities, sights and sounds.
Day 3: Game Drives in Samburu
After breakfast, you will go to the wilderness for a half day game drive in the open savannah grassland, with variety of birds and animals to watch. The game drive in this savannah can come your way at any minute thus the need for you to stay attentive, keep running your eyes through tree branches, likely a leopard might be feasting on its delicious meal, in the bush thickets likely a lion might be hidden strategically waiting for a catch; the hills where antelopes survey the safe grazing areas and more. Elephants, warthogs, Buffaloes, primates and bird species are all that you have to look out for before returning to the lodge for lunch and free evening. Dinner and night stay mark the end of this day.
Day 4: Fly to Masai Mara reserve
After breakfast, you will depart for Masai Mara Reserve, while enjoying a scenic flight that last for about 2 hours; it rewards visitors with stunning views of numerous plantations and the city. Arrive in Masai Mara in the afternoon hours for check-in, refreshment, lunch and a nap. If you arrive early enough you can choose to do an evening game drive.
Day 5: Full day game drive in Masai Mara
Start your day with delicious breakfast at the lodge, and thereafter you will go for the first game drive which runs for about 3-4 hours. The experience of a morning and sunset game drive is one of the best things you can get. Take amazing landscape photos, encounter the savannah inhabitants, and the aquatic animals in Mara River.
To tick off all the animals on your wish list, you will need to be lucky as the park is open and no one has an appointment with any animal. End this day with dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Birding and Masai Cultural encounter
Kick start your day with one thing; the sights and sounds of birds, their names and facts. What do you want to know about birds? Do you have any sought after bird; your knowledge about bird life will be broadened in the 4-5 hours of birding experience from 07:00 hrs. Birds are easily seen in the morning hours, when they are very active, out of their nests and feeding. There are over 500 bird species the guide will help you identify by name and sound, from ostriches, flamingoes, egrets, love-birds, Kori-bustard and more.
After birding expeditions, you will return to the lodge for breakfast and thereafter Lunch. From 15:00 hrs, you will be with the Masai warriors, learning a herd’s man’s ways of life, exploring village life and engaging in dance and songs. We encourage you to buy some souvenirs to keep the memory with Masai People.
Day 7: Departure
Time to leave the hotel is dependent on your flight time. Morning starts with breakfast and you will depart for Nairobi. A drive to Nairobi city takes about 5-6 hours. With an hour spent at Great Rift Valley for photography and sight-seeing. Last lunch in the country will be in Nairobi city, the last word from our company representative and then off you will go to your next destination or back home.
