Predicting Wildebeest Migration River Crossings: Insights and Tips

The Grumeti River is found at the western corridor of Serengeti national park. Grumeti river crossings happen between May and June when the wildebeests migration herds conjugate around the river banks and big herds start crossing.

Before the wildebeests start to cross the river, guides are required to stay away from the scene. In order not to startle the animals that already contemplating whether they should cross or not.
