Rekero camp overlooks the splendid Talek river at Masai Mara game reserve and its one of those outstanding camps located at the heart of wildebeests migration routes to make your safari more memorable. The Talek river crossing point is just 150 kilometers from Rekero camp dining area while the great Mara river is a few minutes drive from the property.
The privilege of staying at Rekero camp is that it offers thrilling experiences of watching dramatic river crossings without having to leave the camp from a community desk or at the verandah of your safari tent.
All tents at the camp overlook the Talek river with a private verandah. The family tents have 2 separate bedrooms which each accommodating up to 5 people. Unfortunately the lodge doesn’t accommodate children under the age of five years old.

The well trained staff at the camp are very friendly and helpful during your stay. The guides at Rekero camp are of Masai origin. Who have grown up coexisting with wildlife in Masai Mara hence very informative and have exceptional knowledge about the reserve.
The other activity organized at the camp is cultural encounters. Trips to local villages in the Masai community can be organized for by Masai guides at the camp. Who will take you to learn more about Masai culture and way of life. You can as well support the local communities by buying their beautiful handmade jewelry.
Rekero camp is open from June to March every year and closes in April and May.
