Serengeti entry fee – Entry fee charged at Serengeti national Park will depend on you’re citizenship and seasons.
During the peak season when wildlife Watching is excellent the park charges $70 for foreign non residents. $35 for foreign residents and Tshs for East African citizens for adults. Children aged between 5-16 years of age will pay. Tshs 2000 for East African citizens. $20 for foreign non residents and $10 for foreign non resident children. Children below 5 years of age will not pay entry fee.
During the low season when wildlife watching is equally good. But not compared to the peak season, foreign non resident adults pay $60. Foreign resident adults pay $30 while East African adults pay Tshs 2000.
Students in primary, secondary and high school pay Tshs 2000 and college and university students pay Tshs 5000.
Filming fee will cover entry, camping and filming at $300 per day.

Car entry fee will depend on the weight it’s carrying and type of vehicle. Tare weight up to 2kgs Tshs (20,000) for East African registered vehicles and ($40) for foreign registered. Weight between 2001 to 3000 kgs (35,000) for East African registered cars and ($150) for foreign registered cars. Tare weight between 3001 to 7000 Kgs (Tshs 60,000) for East African registered vehicles and ($200) for foreign registered vehicles. Weight between 7001 to 10,000 kgs (Tshs 150,000) for East African registered and ($300) for foreign registered vehicles, tare weight above 10 tons (Tshs 300,000) for East African registered vehicles and ($500) for foreign registered vehicles.
Walking safari fee will depend on the duration of the walk. Short walks of 1-4 hours are $20 for foreign non residents and foreign residents while East African citizens pay Tshs 5,000. Long walks of more than 4 hours will be charged $25 for foreign residents and foreign non residents and Tshs 10,000 for East African citizens. Walking Safaris can also be organized for children for children from 12-16 years at $10 for foreign resident and foreign non residents and East African children will pay Tshs 2,500 for short walks. Children who want to take long walks will pay $15 for foreign residents and foreign non residents while East African citizen children will pay Tshs 5000.
Aircraft landing fee will depend on the size of the aircraft. If it’s private or commercial, foreign or local aircraft.
Balloon Safaris fees charged is $50 per person per trip.
