Lake Ndutu airstrip is situated in Ndutu area of Ngorongoro conservation area close to Serengeti national park south of the famous Lake Ndutu. The airstrip is easiest way for accessing Ndutu and Masek areas. There are a number of standard chartered flights to the airstrip daily, the airstrip has a length of 1.2 kilometers meaning only small plains land and the facilities are limited to parking, toilets, offices and lounge.

Ndutu plains
Ndutu plains spread across the western part of Ngorongoro conservation area to the south-eastern areas of Serengeti national park. From around December to April the wildebeest’s migration herds conjugate around Ndutu plains providing excellent wildlife viewing and this is also the birthing season from December to February when almost 400000 wildebeests are born. The birth of thousands of young calves attracts a lot of predators making the area the best place for wildebeest migration during those months.
Olduvai Gorge
